Details |
Whilst returning from the previous shout, the ILB was diverted to goto the aid of the 35' Maxi Yacht 'Exodus' that was dragging it's anchor which had become wrapped around it's Keel. The Yacht was now drifting towards the Sker Rock off St Catherines Island. The ILB raced to the scene and found the yacht. The ILB then proceeded to push the bow of the Yacht around in the hope that the Anchor chain/rope would come free of the Keel. It did and the Yacht was able to be guided by the ALB towards the RNLI mooring in the Bay where it stayed overnight. | |
