Haydn Miller launches after 20ft vessel sufferes engine failure on choppy seas.

The 'Haydn Miller' was launched for the 2nd time in the day at 20:40hrs today (29th July) after a report from the owner of the 20ft motor vessel 'Event Horizon' that he'd suffered engine failure in choppy seas 1/2 a mile East of Lydstep whilst returning from a fishing trip with his daughter. The Lifeboat was soon on scene and passed a tow to the vessel before towing it the short distance to its mooring in Lydstep Bay. After making sure the gentleman and his daughter got safely ashore in their dinghy (where they were met by Coastguards), the Lifeboat returned to station.
